Free Download of the Day 20th September 2012: Emily Barker

Today's free download of the day is Emily Barker's 'Ropes'. Emily is best known for her BAFTA- and Ivor Novello-winning theme music for Wallander and The Shadow Line (although Emily had written both of these songs for themselves; they were adapted for the screen). I am fortunate to have known her music since before any of this award-winning stuff happened. She deserves the awards, but her other music (and that of her backing trio the Red Clay Halo) deserves to be heard too.
